2014 Fountaine Pajot Helia 44
4-Cabins | 4-Heads
The Fountaine Pajot Helia 44 is a proven cruising catamaran known for its balance of performance, comfort, and offshore capability.
Island State of Mind is the desirable 4-cabin, 4-head layout offering excellent space and privacy for owners and guests. She has never been chartered and has been privately owned and thoughtfully maintained throughout her life. Powered by twin Volvo Penta D2-55F engines with recent 2026 servicing, she is well set up for continued cruising.
Her sail plan includes a Doyle mainsail and jib on furling systems, supported by electric and manual Harken winches for efficient handling. The cockpit is fully enclosed and well protected, with teak decking and comfortable seating throughout.
Electronics are fully integrated with Garmin navigation, Simrad autopilot, and radar at the helm and nav station. Power is supported by solar, wind generation, and Victron charging systems for extended off-grid capability.
Additional highlights include air conditioning, watermaker, dishwasher, washing machine, full refrigeration, Rocna ground tackle, and a Highfield tender with outboard and davits.
Originally delivered in France and sailed across the Atlantic to Puerto Rico, she later continued up to New England before returning south, enjoying extensive private cruising throughout the Caribbean, including Puerto Rico, the USVI, and the BVI.
Well equipped, well cared for, and turnkey for continued cruising.

I chose Zee (Zvonimir Kalinic) after posting an ad for a broker on Yacht Sales from about 15 other brokers because he showed professionalism and care right away compared to the others. Most of the brokers never intended to show people my boat but yet somehow expected to collect commission. Zee met me in Novigrad and spent 3 hours taking photos and drone footage and throughout the listing period was communicating continuously and advising me about any offers that came through. His service was at a high standard that I was extremely happy with and felt comfortable at all times especially since I’m in Sydney and my boat is in Montenegro. I can’t recommend Zee highly enough to anyone looking to sell their boat with peace of mind.
The brokerage team has been amazing. They helped me find the right catamaran for our family of four, with enough space for extended family and friends to stay with us anytime. The broker really helped me narrow down what I needed. I started with a long list and eventually narrowed it down to something that was the right fit and price for me.
I cannot speak too highly of Andrew Hodgdon and his colleagues at the Multihull Company.
The process of selling my boat was very smooth and well managed and with excellent communication – especially important as I was unable to be nearby during the sale process. Andrew’s deep knowledge of the market and my boat was very reassuring. We spoke regularly and he kept me closely advised all the way through to a happy sale. I found him a good guy, very helpful, willing to share and bounce ideas around, and I enjoyed working with him. Highly recommended!
