This Lagoon 500 2008 is a well-regarded 5-cabin version, constructed with vacuum-bagged FRP using balsa and honeycomb composite coring, resulting in a strong and lightweight structure.
The Lagoon 500 offers an abundance of space both inside and out, with a vast saloon, one of the largest in its class, that comfortably accommodates 10 people around the table. The spacious cockpit is perfect for social gatherings, while the foredeck features lounges and seating areas. On the flybridge, there is additional seating for 6, making this catamaran ideal for entertaining and relaxation. Accommodation includes four double cabins with queen-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms, a fifth cabin with bunk beds and its own head and shower, and a separate forepeak skipper’s cabin on the port side. Altogether, it can sleep up to 12 people.
Between 2020 and 2022, the yacht underwent a comprehensive refit, with continuous upgrades such as new engines (2020), interior, exterior, mechanical, and navigation system carried out through to 2024, ensuring excellent appearance and functionality. Known for its versatility, comfort, and offshore performance, the Lagoon 500 remains a popular choice among sailors worldwide.
The yacht is professionally serviced every year, including antifouling, anodes replacement, servicing of saildrives, engines, and generator, windlass servicing, sails washing and storage, hull waxing and polishing, and full maintenance and storage of the tender and outboard. It is stored on land every winter.
The Catamaran is fully equipped with a generator, air conditioning in every cabin and the salon, a 180 L/h watermaker, multiple refrigerators, a dishwasher, an icemaker, and a freshwater filtration system. Solar panels and a 1200Ah Gel domestic battery bank (replaced in May 2025) provide reliable off-grid capabilities. The yacht also comes with a large 3.8 m RIB and a 15 HP outboard, fully serviced in May 2025. The saloon and galley were renewed in 2023, and the cabins with en-suite facilities were also upgraded that year, including new electric toilets.
