About

2019, Lagoon 40 named "Nathalie" - Discover the World in Comfort and Style!

The Lagoon 40, introduced in 2017, is a popular cruising catamaran that replaced the Lagoon 400 and 39 models. Known for blending comfort, performance, and a distinctive design, it's a favourite among both private owners and charter companies.

Manufacturer's Comments: Boasting a new signature look, the 40 reveals her striking personality at first glance.  The perfect marriage of interior comfort and optimized cruising, she represents a new generation of Lagoon. At the forefront of the Lagoon brand is Lagoon 40, one of their most popular models. Despite being a smaller model, Lagoon 40 clearly honours the brand's high standards and is characteristic of Lagoon Catamarans in terms of design and spirit. It has a spacious layout and is known for both high comfort and personal style. Industry-leading construction methods ensure highest quality and top performance. Accommodations for up to 10-12 people. Offered in the 4-cabin layout which typically includes four double cabins with four en-suite bathrooms/heads. Often includes 2 single crew cabins in the bows.

Broker's Comments: A VPLP hull, an augmented sail plan, and centralized deck hardware for greater ease:  these are among the many qualities conferring reliability and appeal to this catamaran. Luxurious materials by Nauta Design, featuring large hull window glazing and integrated portholes for natural light and views. Large windows in the hull create a bright atmosphere on board and afford exceptional panoramic views. The saloon is offered in the L-shaped settee with a folding dining table. Panoramic windows provide excellent visibility and light. The galley L-shaped work surface, typically with a 3-burner gas stove, oven, two refrigerators. The main cockpit is spacious and comfortable, with a large starboard dining table (accommodating up to 12 guests), a recreation area, and seating at the aft beam. The helm station is ergonomic, accessible from both cockpit and deck, with good visibility. The aft transom is large with a spacious swim platform for easy tender access and boarding.

I wanted to extend my sincere thanks to both of you and The Multihull Company team for the outstanding job you did in successfully closing the sale of our Excess 14. Despite the challenging environment — including new import tariffs and unique buyer requirements — you navigated everything with professionalism, perseverance, and efficiency.
The transaction was completed smoothly and in good time, which is a true credit to your dedication and expertise. Very well done.
Thank you again, and I wish you all the very best.
Warm regards,

We had an outstanding experience working with Andrew Hodgdon. From the very beginning, he demonstrated deep knowledge of the catamaran we were considering and took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. He found us the perfect vessel that matched our needs and budget and negotiated a fantastic deal on our behalf.

What truly set him apart was he responsiveness—every question we had was answered promptly and thoroughly, and he guided us through the entire process with professionalism and care. We couldn’t be happier with the service and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated yacht broker.
